Southern 100

Description
The Isle of Man, famous as the ‘mecca of motorcycle road racing’ has since 1955 hosted a mass-start road race every July, The Southern 100 Road Races. For over 65 years the races on the Billown Course have drawn fans and riders to experience the unique atmosphere of the Southern 100 and more latterly the Pre-TT & Post TT Road Races. I was approached by the Southern 100 committee as they felt their current website needed a refresh and was difficult to use. They also wanted to add many new features to the website to make it easier for both fans and entrants. Features launched on the new website include - Entry System for all three meetings with payments online, ticket sales for grandstands and online 100 Club applications. The addition of a new ‘Media Hub’ offering online media applications, a results history for all three meetings and more. I have followed and photographed the Southern 100 for as long as I can remember and never missed a Thursday of Southern 100, I was somehow unwell for school on this day every year (thank you Mum & Dad!). Being from Castletown and having recently purchased my first home in Castletown this is a website I am very privileged to have created and would like to thank the club for the opportunity.
Client Review
The Southern 100 Motorcycle Club used Callum of CJS Websites to re-build our website. He has done a very professional job for us with plenty of new innovations and he is always on hand to offer advice. He has created new email addresses for all our officials and also has created online entry forms for our three meetings plus numerous other items for our benefit. All this was done at an extremely competitive cost to us, so if you are thinking of getting either a new website or need an old tired one updating, Callum is the man.
