Funding could be available for your new website!
Did you know that you could be eligible for a grant of 50% towards the cost of your new or improved website? The current Business Improvement Scheme (BIS) backed by the Department for Enterprise is designed to help businesses become more effective and efficient by engaging with external techinical consultants to complete a range of business improvement projects. This includes funding towards either a new website or improvements to an existing website. Currently the BIS offers up to £10,000 support for all applications before 31st March 2022.
Benefits include:
- Grant of 50% towards the cost of a new or improved website
- The scheme not only provides financial assistance, but enables businesses to engage with a range of technical consultants to deliver the business improvement project
- Includes a Business Advisory Service, fully funded by the Department
Are you eligible?
You must:
- Be registered or incorporated on the Isle of Man
- Employ at least one Isle of Man staff other than the owner
- Have no Government debts (NI/Tax/VAT etc)
So how does it work?
- If you believe you could be eligible for the Business Improvement Scheme and would like me to build you a website under this scheme the first thing you will need is a quote from myself to send to the Department for Enterprise. Please use the enquiry form or call me on 07624 484252. The scheme does not cover any yearly costs including Domain Name, SSL or Website Hosting; Therefore you will receive two quotes from myself, one with the yearly costs and one without.
- If you are happy with the quote and wish to proceed then the quote and application form must be submitted to the Department for Enterprise.
- Once approved I will invoice for a deposit towards the website and begin work. Work cannot begin until your request has been either approved or denied. Nor can grants be given retrospectively.
- Once the website is finished and the final invoice has been paid, the two receipts and link to the website must be sent to the Department for Enterprise and you will receive 50% back.
